Cymru Solar is 100% committed to customer satisfaction. Please find below our main industry accreditations.
Microgeneration Certification Scheme
To be able to claim government backed renewable energy incentives such as the feed in tariff or the RHI your system must be installed by an accredited organisation. The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is a government approved but independent scheme administered by Gemserve.
It was set up to approve and certify technologies for Microgeneration and to regulate Microgeneration installer technical standards. As a fully approved and vetted member of the MCS scheme you can be assured that you will receive a high quality of service and standard of work from Cymru Solar. Find the codes of practise here http://www.microgenerationcertification.org/
NICEIC Self-Certification Scheme
To ensure that this exciting new industry maintains high standards in terms of designing and installing these technologies the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) launched the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). For home owners to access financial incentives an MCS accredited installer and MCS accredited products must be used.
NICEIC is authorised to operate an MCS scheme for renewable technology installers and delivers this scheme to the same high standards it delivers its electrical Part P scheme.
RECC Assurance Scheme
The RECC Assurance Scheme was set up by the Renewable Energy Association. Their aim is to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small-scale energy generation systems for their homes. The RECC Assurance Scheme logo is a sign that Cymru Solar has agreed to abide by the high standards set out in their Consumer Code. http://www.recc.org.uk/
Trust Mark Scheme
Trust Mark is a quality mark which operates a framework under which 30 plus scheme operators work in the RMI (repair, maintenance and improvement) sector, including trade associations, local government trading standards teams, and independent scheme operators. These schemes are approved to carry the Trust Mark logo and recruit reputable and trustworthy tradesmen. This enables the Trust Mark scheme operators to promote improved RMI sector standards, and tackle related issues such as better enforcement. All of these scheme operators are audited annually by Trust Mark, to ensure processes, standards and complaint procedures are being maintained. If a firm displays the Trust Mark logo you know that they have approved and inspected the firm through one of the scheme operators and found that the firm meets the required Government endorsed criteria. http://www.trustmark.org.uk/.
